Meet the Team
Science meets Spirit
Hello! I am Laura; Woman, Mother, Adventurer and Hypnotherapist.
I spent a long time working in a profession I no longer cared for, wasting time on things that I didn't want to do. I think we've all been there! I have always been really passionate about helping others find happiness, achieve their goals and make the changes they so desperately need, so after some soul searching (and a few qualifications!), here I am, ready to help!
In my spare time, I love hiking, weight lifting and dancing to old school house music or 80's power ballads. I love my family and friends and connections are really important to me! I also have two children, so I really understand the joys* of parenting.
Before we come to qualifications, I want you to know that I am here to help you be the best you that you can be. I have used self-hypnosis & cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy in many areas of my own life, including weight loss of 15kg and adopting a healthy exercise regime, amongst other things. It has made me a happier person, a better parent, and helped me process my own Birth Trauma. I have first-hand experience of the power of Hypnobirthing and this has fuelled me into helping others achieve the same success.
I am a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and all my training and supervision has been completed at the prestigious Anglo-European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis with Adam Eason, one of only seven schools world-wide certified to teach certain courses. I also assist in the classroom at the college, and highly recommend it to anyone considering training!
I am a member of the UK Hypnotherapy Council (UKHC) and the National Council of Hypnotherapists (NCH) and as such, I adhere to a stringent Code of Ethical Conduct. I hold full insurance to practice Clinical Hypnotherapy, as well as being DBS checked, for paediatric application of hypnosis.
I have Diplomas in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Hypnotherapy in Practice and NLP practice and I am also currently undertaking a Bsc (Hons) Psychology with Sociology through the University of Surrey. I have also completed Child Psychology Diploma (CPD, Level 3) and a Counselling Skills course (Level 2). I am committed to life-long learning!
I love helping people transform and conquer their problems and conditions once and for all. Hypnotherapy is often a last resort for people because of misconceptions about how it works. It is a collaboration between us and everyone is capable of harnessing their own strengths and resources. Quite often, I find people are amazed by the experience of Hypnotherapy, there is nothing magical about the process, yet something quite profound about the outcome.
Although I really enjoy helping people in a wide range of areas, I feel particularly passionate about helping mothers throughout every step of their pregnancies and birthing experiences. If you have unresolved Birth Trauma, wish to have a personalised Hypnobirthing experience, or are suffering with Postpartum Depression, please get in touch.
You are not alone.
Fathers (and caregivers) can also experience related issues and this is something I am also happy to assist with.
Feel free to call or email me for a free initial phone consultation, I will always give you my honest opinion. I use evidence-based hypnotherapy and I believe that everyone should have access to learning these skills. If you are a low-income family please contact me, I will consider adding you to my waiting list for discounted or free therapy.
A wealth of empirical evidence to support hypnotherapy is available, allowing me to use scientifically proven and evidence-based techniques to overcome a whole range of issues. I use cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy to change mindsets and teach important skills, giving you freedom from your current problems and preventing issues arising in future.

Mother of two, nutritionist, Childbirth Educator and Personal Doula
As a mother of two children born in very different ways, I recognise that an empowered pregnancy and birth is not about how the baby comes out. It is essential that, at every step of the way, the mother or birthing person feels informed and confident to make the right decisions about their care and their birth choices. As a Doula and Birth Educator, advocating for Women's Rights in birth, I can support you at any stage of this journey. I am a trustee of a new (status pending) charity, "Here We Grow", that aims to highlight some of these areas.
My interest in helping others began over 16 years ago when I first trained in Massage and Healing. Since then I have continued learning and adding to my skill set, teaching women's Chi Gung amongst other things. I have practiced talk therapy and believe this is also important when resolving issues.
More recently I have become a Certified Nutritionist. I believe that Food is our Medicine. Many illnesses stem from poor nutrition, helping people make positive changes is something I am very passionate about.
We specialise in very different areas of mind and body healing, bringing strengths and benefits from every angle to provide the best possible care for each of our clients. Whether you are working with one or both of us, rest assured that your needs are our main priority.
Laura Chapman provides personalised hypnosis sessions, designed to help you lead a balanced, harmonious life. Using scientific evidence-based techniques and specialised training, she thrives on helping clients transform themselves and make the positive changes they need for a better life.
"As a passionate Clinical Hypnotherapist, studying Psychology, Sociology and Counselling, I take pride in my work. I am dedicated to helping people achieve their goals and I will tailor each session specifically to suit your requirements. I adhere to a stringent code of ethics, as laid out by the National Council of Hypnotherapists (NCH), and I am committed to an attitude of lifelong development and learning. Whether you are suffering from anxiety, addiction, phobias or depression, or just wish to learn hypnobirthing and new skills, I am here to help you succeed and achieve your goals".
Georgina has been helping clients for over decade with her wealth of knowledge. She is a qualified Nutritional therapist and has been a Birth Educator and coach for a number of years, more recently training as a Doula to help women have a positive experience through every step of their journey into pregnancy, birth and parenthood. As a mother of two, each with very different births, she recognises that it is essential for women to feel empowered and confident in their abilities, for a healthy birthing experience.
"I have worked in London and Paris, helping people with trauma, and am also qualified in energy healing and Chi Gung. As well as helping people achieve positive birthing experiences, I very much believe that food is medicine and the right balance of healing foods for each person can bring a state of strength, vitality and robust health that is fundamental to our well-being".
